Details
Charming vintage German porcelain creamer pitcher featuring a delicate floral design in soft blue, pink, and yellow, highlighted with gold trim along the scalloped rim. The pitcher has an ornate raised relief body and a graceful handle, making it perfect for display or as a functional creamer for tea time. The creamer’s backstamp — the green crown and shield with “Germany” — is consistent with E.S. (Erdmann Schlegelmilch) Porcelain, a well-known German maker active in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
Erdmann Schlegelmilch operated in Sülbersdorf, Germany starting in the 1860s, producing fine porcelain for both European and export markets. Pieces with “Germany” in the mark were generally made between 1891 and the 1940s, as U.S. import laws after 1891 required the country of origin to be included. The floral transfer patterns and embossed, scalloped shapes were especially popular in the 1910s–1930s.

I love hunting for treasures and finding bargains. I am very busy with three parents/in laws all in their 80s and the most wonderful six year old grandson with autism. Digging for vintage treasures is a little "me time" and I'm looking forward to sharing them with everyone through Secondhand Squad.
