This is a vintage indoor planter, shaped like a charming young lady! Made in Japan during the late 1950s, for Lefton, this lovely lass stands in a pretty flower patterned dress, caught in a gentle breeze. She's balancing a large flower basket on each hip, with both baskets practically overflowing with greenery and applied flowers. The back of her dress is open, ready to hold one of your treasured houseplants! Condition: This gal is in excellent shape! I found one tiny fleabite on her dress, and another even smaller one on the tip of a leaf. All of those other itty bitty florals seem to be completely intact. I'm impressed! Size: She measures about 5½" across, is about 4½" wide, and stands just under 6½" tall. The actual planter portion measures 2¾" by 1¾", and is 2¼" deep on the shallow end. The inside of her dress is hollow, giving a little more interior space to spread some roots!
