This is a vintage spice shaker set, comprised of multiple mushrooms! Made in Japan, probably during the 1970s, these mushroom shaped shakers were crafted from a lightweight ceramic. Their stems are a soft buff-yellow, and two of the shakers have orange caps, while the other two are topped with a rich brown. Each mushroom has a small loop on their cap, allowing them to hang perfectly on the hooks of their small metal caddy.
Condition: This set is in excellent shape! I didn't find any serious issues, there are no chips or cracks on the shakers, and the metal caddy is rust free. There are a few places on the shakers that have poor glazing, where they weren't properly coated before firing, but other than these small manufacturing flaws, there's really nothing wrong with this set! I couldn't find the name of the company that made or imported this set, but the shakers are marked "Japan" underneath.
Size: Each shaker measures about 3” across the cap, and sits about 3½" tall. The metal caddy stands about 8" tall, and its base is 4" across, although the shakers extend a little past the base when they're hooked on.
