This is a vintage planter, adorned with a cute little mouse! Made in Japan during the 1960s, for Inarco, this mouse with his big cheesy prize was intended to be a nursery planter, given to a new mom or a mom-to-be. The soft pastel colors would indeed look perfect in a baby's room, but this little cutie would also fit well in a kitschy animal collection, or even in the kitchen, where he might come across even MORE cheese! Condition: This planter is in Excellent shape! There are no chips, cracks, or any other damage that I could find. Even the interior is nice and clean, which is such a rarity for a planter! The only thing I found was just the tiniest smudge of extra pink on his cheek, left over from manufacturing. I really can't even call that an issue! Size: This piece measures about 4" across the widest point, is about 5¾" long, and stands just under 4½" tall. The actual planter portion is wedge shaped, measuring about 3" across the widest point, narrowing to just ¼" at the small end, is 4¾" long, and about 3" deep. Not a bad size for a vintage planter!
