Vintage Set of Five Pink Angels or Fairies | Spun Cotton, Pink Tulle and Chenille Angel or Fairy Package Toppers | Glittery and Glamorous Christmas Decorations | 1960s Made in Japan

This is a set of 5 vintage package tie-ons, shaped like gorgeous little angels... or fairies! Made in Japan during the late 1950s or early 1960s, these ethereal beauties look like they've fluttered down to visit right out of a dream. With a long chenille stem, they were originally meant to be extra decoration on a Christmas gift, but they'd be such a treat to see wrapped on a Christmas tree branch. Especially if you happen to have one of those amazing mid-century aluminum ones... They come in pink too you know! These would also be excellent candidates for a craft project, if you're feeling creative! Condition: Overall this set is in Very Good shape! There is no light fading, the pink dresses are still nice and bright, the peachy chenille arms and spun cotton heads are still colorful as well. The glitter spots on the wings look to be intact, and the chenille stems are all the same length, so they haven't been cut. A couple of the gals do have damage to the tulle on their wings, with the wire wingtips poking out, and there is a little bit of damage to the dress on one of them, but there are no enormous rips or missing sections. Size: Each angel measures about 2¼" across, is 1½" wide, and 1½" tall. They are about 5" long when including the stem. The size will vary just a bit between them, as the wires do flex and bend.
