Details
This is a vibrantly vintage piggy bank, shaped like sleepy tiger! Made in Japan during the late 1960s, this bank was constructed from a surprisingly sturdy papier mâché. His colors are shocking in person, and his neon pink accents fluoresce under blacklight. He is SO bright, my little camera just doesn't do him justice! He has been finished with a dark brown wash, both highlighting his molded details, and assuring we can view him without being blinded by his brilliance! Condition: This bank is in Very Good shape! Although he doesn't have any serious damage, like cracking or missing chunks, he does have some flakes to his paint, mostly on the back of his head and around his coin slot. Most of his paint layer is perfectly fine though, and boy is it ever loud. He is also missing his original stopper, but you know what they say - Money comes, and money goes! Size: He measures just under 4" across, is 3" wide, and sits 6" tall.
