Vintage Ucagco (Japan) Hand-Painted Porcelain Basket with Fruit/Gold Gilt

The vintage Ucagco Porcelain Basket with Hand-Painted Fruit and Gold Gilt is a decorative piece from the 1950s. The basket measures 4.7 inches in length and 4.5 inches in height. The handle is made to look like a fruit stem. The handle is painted with gold gilt and there is gold gilt spongeware design around the rim and a lines around the base.

The basket is in very good condition. There are no chips or cracks. There is a little bit of gold gilt wear on the handle and some crazing along the inner edge of the base (see last two pictures).
