Vintage Wood Carved Hinged Cigarette Box Circa 1940. Wood Container With Intricate Flower Design.

This beautiful hand carved box is hinged and it folds out to hold 48 cigarillos or cigarette’s. The hinges are brass and the lid closes tightly. The bottom is beautifully finished around the edges. Overall this is in good vintage condition. However, with the wood being quite fine and an older piece there are areas where it is broken inside. Along some of the joints there is slight separation with the age and the material it’s made from. The price reflects this. Whether this is used as intended, used a different way or used for display this is a beautiful container!
