Vtg. Gorham Porcelain Rocking Horse & Boy Music Box, "It's a Small World", Rocks

This is a vintage Gorham porcelain Little Boy on Rocking Horse Music Box from the Life is a Happy Adventure line. The piece was made in 1984 and at that time, Gorham was a division of Lenox and was manufacturing in Providence, Rhode Island. The rocking music box features a little boy holding his teddy bear while riding a rocking horse and plays the iconic tune "It's a Small World." This music box figurine is hand-painted and measures 4.5 inches in length, 4.75 inches in height, and 2.4 inches in width, weighing just over 9 ounces. The unique feature of this collectible is that it rocks while the music plays, adding an element of charm and nostalgia to any decor. This would be a lovely piece for a baby's/boys room and ultimately a delightful addition to any music box or decorative collectibles collection.

The music box is in excellent condition. The paint is intact, the music box mechanism works as does the rocking mechanism. Please see video.
