Wards Master No. 4 Hand Plane

This is a Wards Master hand plane produced by Stanley for Montgomery Ward department store (Similar to Sears’ craftsman line of tools). This plane features most of the quality you’d come to expect from a Stanley plane, like a frog adjustment screw and a spring lever cap. Surprisingly, this plane is furnished with both a rose wood knob and tote, something you really don’t see on planes produced for store brands. This plane will fix up into a fantastic smoother or a swanky scrub plane.
